Dr Rupy creates healthy and delicious recipes using carefully selected ingredients, explaining the clinical research behind them and sharing across his media platforms. He is also in the process of completing a Masters in Nutritional Medicine, which will only give his views and creativity further authority.
The Doctor's Kitchen has a strong social base across Facebook, Youtube and Instagram with a following of over 225k combined. Dr Rupy also presents on his own podcast hosted via his Doctor's Kitchen website; over 50 episodes have been produced with a hugely educational array of topics highlighted and discussed. Guests include Joe Wicks, Dr Rosie Riley and Henry & Ian from BOSH!.
Dr Rupy is a Sunday Times bestselling author with two cookbooks published by Harper Collins, "The Doctor's Kitchen" and "Eat to Beat Illness" and has appeared on BBC, SKY and ITV.
In addition, he is the founding director of Culinary Medicine, a non-profit organisation which aims to teach doctors and medical students the foundations of nutrition, as well as teaching them how to cook. In his role as clinical adviser to the Royal College of GP's and more recently being accepted as a fellow on the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme, Dr Rupy has big aspirations to bring this concept to the profession globally.
2020 has been a busy year for Dr Rupy, to put it mildly. In addition to stepping up his professional work in emergency care to help combat Covid-19, he continues to provide tools, advice and live cook- a-longs for people in isolation via his social channels (below!).
We thank Rupy and all of the NHS for their exemplary and heroic work!
