Betsy Griffin is a eight-year-old who has overcome a lot for someone her age, or even for someone four times that. At two years old, Betsy was diagnosed with a rare and inoperable brain tumour that - even after intensive chemotherapy - has left her blind. But this hasn't dampened Betsy's spirit or love for life, which she shares with the world on her successful YouTube channel, Betsy's Positive Videos. Betsy also works tirelessly to raise money and awareness for many different charities, from busking for Bliss to campaigning for Brain Tumour Research at the Raver Tots Festival. Betsy's outlook on life is always optimistic, despite the challenges she's faced along the way: as she said to Gareth Malone when she performed at his Christmas concert in 2017, 'well, that's life, Gareth!’
