Growing up in Sheffield, Henry and Ian became friends at secondary school and were very much meat eaters. Ian was the first to go vegan in early 2015, and Henry was quick to follow after they both watched Kip Andersen's Cowspiracy documentary together. They now live and work together in London, creating delicious plant-based recipes that are shared across the globe.
BOSH! consider themselves to be 'food remixers' taking classic dishes and recreating them using nothing but plants. With recipes including 'The World's First Pasta Burger', 'The Falafel Onion Ring' and the incredibly decadent 'CamemBOSH!', it's easy to see why they have grown such a massive fan base so quickly.
A competitive bidding war between publishers resulted in BOSH! signing their first book deal with HarperCollins. Their award-winning book BOSH! was published on 19th April 2018, becoming the best-selling vegan cookbook of all time and best-selling debut cookbook of 2018. The book has spent 65 consecutive weeks in the Food and Drink Top 20 Chart. It also won the Non-Fiction: Lifestyle Book of the Year at The British Book Awards 2019.
Their second cookbook BISH BASH BOSH! was released on 4th April 2019, with Henry and Ian hosting a huge launch event at Vegan Nights with 3,000 people where they simultaneously DJ'd and cooked food from their new book.
In October 2019, BOSH! came out with their first lifestyle book, How To Live Vegan. They shared their top tips on everything from nutrition, store cupboard essentials, food labelling, alcohol, fashion, beauty and travelling.
In the same year, Henry and Ian published their third cookbook 'BOSH! Healthy Vegan' on 26th December. Packed with over 80 delicious recipes, this book shows how healthy vegan food doesn't have to be 'holier-than-thou' salads or carb-heavy fakeaways.
In 2020, Henry and Ian fronted ITV's 'Living on the Veg', the first vegan cookery series on mainstream TV. Every Sunday morning, Henry and Ian were joined by guests in the kitchen for their signature quick, delicious and fuss-free menus with wow presentations.
With delicious recipes and a relaxed approach, BOSH! bring their friendship into the kitchen to help surprise and amaze people with just how great plant-based food is.
The new spring menu at high street favourites Costa Coffee includes a collaboration with BOSH! - the Ultimate Chocolate Slice - we can't wait to try a slice ourselves!
